Advocacy/Respect for Program 

Ideas:
Pictures and videos of what we are working on to send to teachers in the building.
This could also be put online for community to see.
Years at the school can help. Be a support and do favors for other teachers.  Understanding and also share how there are lots of things on my own plate.
Swapping jobs happened a few years ago and gained lots of empathy.
Inviting kids to joining in.  
Owning the performance songs as examples of what we are working.
Oo and AAH about what they are working on to emphasize.
While they have high stakes testing, we try to understand that they have piles and piles of work.  We also help them understand that they can't hold students to retake a test during music time.
Not okay to be late
BAT- Building Administration Team (Has one from each grade level, principal, and one from paras pros, specials).  This is not a leadership team.
Goal: Make myself so valuable that they would miss me if I was gone.
March: Music In Our Schools Month. Bulletin Boards, Why we love music?, 
Bulletin Idea: Do you know our staff? (question staff and put random facts about them to uncover and discover which staff had music)
